Petz Shows
Totally New Show Format! Please read this page to see what has changed! Title Point System added. Make sure to join the mailing list on the home page to get the show results!
May's Catz Show winners posted. June's Catz show for "Cute Kitty" pictures is now closed! June's show winners are posted. July's Catz Show for Summer Fun is now closed! Please vote. Kat's EmpiRe's first Dogz show for Summer Fun is also closed! Catz and Dogz Poses only shows #1C and #1D are both closed and open for voting! New shows for Catz and Dogz Poses only opened July 16. There will be 12 entry spots for Catz and Dogz Poses Only Shows shows. Once I get 12 entries for each show, it will be closed. Or until one month after the show opens. There will be 8 entry spots for special shows and you may only send in one entry for special shows. New special shows opened July 17, Best Animated Picture. Picture must be in gif format and be animated in some way. You may use a paint program and have up to two petz per picture. 4 Shows now open: Catz Poses Only #2C and Dog Poses only #2D Special Shows: Best Animated Picture for Catz and Best Animated picture for Dogz.
I have started doing the shows differently for July... the way they used to be run. There will be a certain number of entry slots (12 for Show Poses only; 8 for Special Shows) that have to be filled and once they are filled, the show will be closed. Waiting a month is too long for results and I would like to email the picture owner if their pet wins. For May and June's shows, I don't have the email address of the picture owner's, but for July I will keep a list, so please make sure you have a valid email address that can receive attachments. Also, Kat's EmpiRe has added a Dogz Show and other dogz features soon. Which will be hard because I don't have Dogz, but the dogz stuff will be things people send in to me. Note: Show with "C" after them are for Catz and shows with "D" are for Dogz, ie- Show Poses #1C is a Catz show. Please read the new rules.
Kat's EmpiRe will be having Catz Shows and Dogz Shows now. All entries will be posted on that show's entry page. Once the show has been filled (12 entries), it will then be closed, you may email me you first, second, and third place choices only ONCE! Please don't vote until the show has been closed. You will be notified if your cat wins. Please make sure you have (and tell me) a valid email address that can receive attachments. Winners will also be listed in the newsletter, so please join the mailing list found on the home page! If you cat does win, email me and I will send you a customized banner.
Rules for Entering 1. No toys, food bowls, brushes, etc. in pictures. A couple butterflies and flowers are ok. 2. Only one Pet per picture unless for a special show. 3. No clothing or glasses unless for a special show. Hats, bows, and crowns are ok. 4. Petz should be in a show pose or sitting pose unless for a special show. 5. You may send in up to 2 entries per show (2 for Catz and 2 for Dogz) of different Petz in separate emails please! Only one entry for a special show (1 for Catz and 1 for Dogz). 6. Pictures should be in .BMP, .JPG, or .GIF image files. 7. Pictures are not to be edited in any way unless for a special show. Pictures should not be animated, unless for a specified special show. 8. Once a picture has won BIS or First Place, it cannot be entered in a Kat's EmpiRe show again. You may enter a new picture or use the same if you didn't win.

The classic Catz Show Pose is facing sideways, head held high and looking toward you, eyes open and eyelids even, back paws spread fully, front paws together, and tail should be straight or with slight arch, but it is ok if it is not. I'm not too sure what the Dogz Pose is... I know the head is usually sideways.

The Best in Show award is not given unless it is a Championship show. The normal Dogz, Catz, etc. shows are not Championship shows.
Reserve Champion/Rc. - 5 points needed Best in Show - 5 points Please take this point system and put it on your site. Many site owners are trying to make it the standard point system.
